The Play Professionals are pleased to announce that as of 7th January 2025 we will be providing After School Club, and Breakfast Club at Richard Atkins School
Children from Christ Church can also use this service. Parents can drop their children off at Richard Atkins for Breakfast Club and they will be escorted back to Christ Church for the start of the school day.
For After School Club, Staff will escort children to Richard Atkins where they can be collected at the end of the session.

Our online booking system is easy to use, and we have online tutorials to help. Bookings can be made 24 hours a day at https://playp.org.uk/.

Regular bookings are made online by the parent and carers for the same days each week for the whole term.

The ‘Superheroes’ service is for families who need emergency childcare or occasional sessions. Superheroes bookings can be made up to 3.00pm on the day(s) required.

Free Taster sessions can also be booked so your children can see what the Play Professionals offer

Subsidised places are offered to families on the equivalent of full Universal Credit for one session per week.

The Play Professionals accept a variety of payment options that effectively reduce the overall cost of childcare for parents and families including Childcare Voucher companies and the government’s Childcare Choices scheme. Parents are also able to spread payments for regular bookings over instalments.

The Play Professionals provide activities for children aged 3-11. A healthy snacks and drinks are provided throughout each session. All The Play Professionals staff members undergo an enhanced DBS check and are fully qualified to professional national standards, increasing their ability to care and respond effectively to children’s changing needs.
Services:
- Breakfast Club: 7:30am – 8.45am
- After School Club: 3.15pm - 6.00pm
Prices:
- Breakfast Club: £6.00 /Breakfast Club Superheroes* £8.50
- After School Club: £16.00 / After School Club Superheroes* £21.00
*Superheroes places can be booked in an ad hoc way, up to 3pm on the day for After School Club and up to 4pm the working day before for Breakfast Club
