Admissions - Reception 2020/2021
Pupils start school the year that they turn five years of age. Therefore, pupils starting primary school in September 2020 were born between 1st September 2015 and 31st August 2016.
The application process commenced in September 2019 when e-admissions (www.eadmissions.org.uk) became available for parents to apply for schools. The deadline was Wednesday 15th January 2020.
If you are applying for a foundation (Church) place, then you need to complete the school's Supplementary Information Form and ask your minister/incumbent to complete the Clergy Form and return it to the school.
When you apply to Christ Church Streatham for reception places for September 2020, you MUST also apply to Lambeth Primary Admissions (as schools are unable to offer places without the offer being made through Lambeth). Also, make sure that you apply to Christ Church STREATHAM as there are two Christ Church Schools in Lambeth.
If you did not apply on time, you will still need to apply via E-admissions and to the school.
What happens after forms have been submitted?
If you applied before the deadline day, National Offer Day is usually 16th April. Parents will receive confirmation of their child's school. Parents then need to return the confirmation slip to Lambeth in the time frame given. Then as a school, we write to parents informing them of home visit dates, new reception parent meetings, start dates etc.
If you applied after the deadline day, you will need to wait until the on-line application places have been offered and then Lambeth will look at the late applications.
